SAFETY

At James Lynch & Sons our staff are incredibly important to us, whether that’s our drivers, accounts and transport office, our admin team or our mechanics. Every member of staff is given the relevant training needed for their role and ongoing training is always available.

For our drivers that means they are fully trained in all aspects of Accord Dangereux Routier (ADR)and the carrying of goods with hazardous properties. They also attend regular ADR Awareness Training. Safety to us, our drivers and our clients is of paramount importance, both on site and on the road.

Working in partnership with Enterprise Transport Training, as well as others, our drivers are also working towards achieving their Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (C.P.C) Qualification.  It’s an ongoing qualification that has to be completed every five years.

Our garage staff receive regular Roadside Recovery Training to ensure they are as safe as possible when going out on breakdowns.

They also receive Confined Space Training to ensure safety when they have to go into the tanker to check the lining.

As an organisation we are also members of the Road Haulage Association and the Chemical Business Association. Our aim is and always will be to provide the best round-the-clock service for our entire client base, with excellent customer service at the forefront of everything we do.
