Tankers on the Road

James Lynch & Sons (Transport) Ltd: Celebrating 66 years in business

We are a Cheshire based; family run chemical haulage company.

With a team of 55 staff we transport a huge range of chemical products from our clients’ depots direct to their customers both here in the UK and across Europe.

We have a fleet of 55 tankers and 40 drivers on our books, which means we are proud to operate 24 hours a day, 365 days of the year.

As a family run company, we are small enough to care and large enough to deliver at scale with customer satisfaction at the core of everything we do.

New Addition to the Lynch Fleet

Transporting hazardous substances and chemicals is complex and means you can’t afford to take any risks. This means the tankers we use have to meet our very exacting requirements.

We wanted to expand our fleet and needed to ensure that the tankers we purchased met those specifications.

Our Supported Charities

This year, charities more than ever have needed support and as the COVID-19 crisis continues this looks unlikely to change.

We take our charitable contributions seriously and as a family business we feel it’s very important to give something back.

Over the years we have raised funds for a number of different charities including:

St Luke’s Cheshire Hospice – They offer a wide range of services to support people living with life limiting illnesses in mid and south Cheshire.

Alzheimer’s Research UK – Dementia is very common. Almost every day 600 people in the UK develop dementia and although people over 65 are more likely to be diagnosed, it can affect younger people too.

Leeds Teaching Hospitals Charitable Foundation – The money donated is used to help provide equipment, facilities and extra support that improves care for patients and families, and relieves pressure on staff.

The charities we have chosen, each mean something to us as a company and in 2021 we will be giving our staff the chance to help choose which charities, will be our charities of the year. Watch this space for details.
